Coaching That Moves With You

This is coaching that adapts to how you work best.

Some clients prefer to meet online, while others find that walking together through Bristol Docks or Cirencester Park creates the right environment for reflection. It’s your choice, both formats work.

Walking can change the pace and help things surface more naturally. But meaningful coaching doesn’t rely on movement. Whether we meet on a path or through a screen, the real value is in the quality of attention, the honesty we bring, and the trust we build together.

The space we create through steady presence and good questions is what allows clarity and change to happen.

Why It Works

Shared Understanding

I’ve been through big life changes. I know what it feels like to question everything. You’ll be heard, and you’ll be understood without judgement or pressure.

Small Steps, Big Changes

We don’t chase big outcomes just for the sake of it. We take what feels overwhelming and break it down into simple steps that actually work.

Serious Work, Light Touch

This is deep work, but it doesn’t have to be heavy. There’s room for honesty, clarity, and even humour. Growth feels more possible when it’s held lightly.

A Real Story

I went for a walk with a client. He’d been holding onto something for a long time—an outcome driven by ego and pride. It was consuming huge amounts of emotional energy and stopping him from focusing on what really mattered.

We talked. I asked the questions he didn’t want to be asked. And when we got down to the honest truth, something shifted.

Letting go of that outcome freed him. Ok, so he saved six figures in the process, but more importantly, he got his energy back. He had the space to focus again—on his vision, his family, his well-being. He showed up differently. With clarity. With strength. With a renewed sense of purpose. That’s priceless.

He made that decision. He did the hard work. I just asked the tough questions and walked beside him.

Why You Can Trust This Work

I’ve lived this work. I’ve been through personal change that wasn’t theoretical it was survival. Letting go of old identities, rebuilding from the ground up, and learning how to walk through fear without running from it.

That lived experience is what shapes my coaching. I know what it’s like to be stuck, to feel disconnected, and to question everything. And I know what it takes to find your way back.

Alongside that, I’ve trained formally. I hold:

  • An ICF-accredited Diploma in Coaching

  • An EMCC-accredited Diploma in Professional Coaching Practice

I also draw from Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, and Ikigai but only where they serve you. These aren’t frameworks to hide behind. They’re tools I use sparingly to support the real work: helping you reconnect with what matters and move forward with honesty and strength.

“Working with Iain has been truly a great experience, he is genuine, personable and can relate with me that has made our sessions worthwhile.

When I started working with Iain, I was struggling both personally and professionally, he has listened and let me see my own solutions. This has enabled me to regain and grow both my self-worth and confidence. This has in turn enabled me to regain stability in my relationship, gratitude for what I have and has also seen me get recognised and promoted in work. This has only been possible as Iain has made me believe that this could all be possible.

I would highly recommend Iain. If you are willing to really work on yourself and have the open mindedness to try and take onboard what is on offer then being coached by Iain is a great experience.”
